School Information & FAQ

Dear Families,

As we prepare to begin the new school year, Diamond Charnea Transportation extends our heartfelt thanks for your continued trust and commitment to your child's education. Unlike our competitors, we have diligently worked to maintain low rates by absorbing registration fees and eliminating mileage caps. This allows us to serve students living outside their zoned school areas. Parents will receive notifications when their child is picked up and dropped off.

Our efforts have enabled us to expand our service to all Tampa/Hillsborough County Schools, rather than being limited to a single institution.

If you plan to use our transportation services this school year, please select a service package on our website and complete the subsequent questionnaire for your child. Note that seating is limited.

**Information and FAQ**

Morning Transportation: Typically from predetermined stops if home pickup is not an option for parents.

Afternoon Transportation: Students will be dropped off at their home address or a designated location.

Student Sign-In/Out: The driver will sign students in and out via text.

Contact Information: Ensure your mobile numbers are accurate and inform us if your child will not need a ride on a particular day.

Communication: Parents can message the driver, but we request avoiding non-emergency messages during pick-up and drop-off times.

Route Optimization: We do not guarantee specific drop-off times or orders as the driver will optimize routes for efficiency.

Service Area: If you do not live in the service area (Tampa, Riverview, Brandon) contact us to find a nearby stop.

**Stops and Pick Up**
Students should arrive 5-7 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. If missed, parents should meet at the next stop. Parents can request a confirmation text upon pickup.
Pick-up times may be adjusted based on traffic patterns throughout the school year.

School Transportation can typically qualify as a childcare expense.  We will provide you with our EIN number at the end of the calendar year, please consult your accountant to make sure you are eligible for this credit.

If you no longer require our service or your child will be absent, please text 813-530-6845 or email DiamondCharneaTransportation@gmail.com. If we do not receive payment after your monthly plan ends, we will assume you no longer need our services.
